For decades, millions of Americans sipped their morning coffee and began their day reading three simple words, "Dear Ann Landers". Eppie Lederer, better known as advice columnist Ann Landers, answered countless letters from lovelorn teens, confused couples and a multitude of others in need of advice. But, many readers never knew that behind the advice columnist was a woman filled with class, charisma and a whole lotta chutzpah! The touring production of 'The Lady With All The Answers' is produced by the Nebraska Theatre Caravan, and will play at the Ware Center, located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 7:30 pm.

This off-Broadway tour-de-force provides a compelling portrait of the bubbly, frank and slightly eccentric writer that became a fixture of our culture. Featuring a veritable treasure trove of her favorite letters, as well as hilarious behind-the-scenes showbiz stories and tales of personal triumph, this folksy, funny, straightforward and validating show is all about the no-nonsense Sioux City, IA native whose daily dialogue with America helped shape the social landscape for the last half century.

The tour stars seasoned actress Rebecca McGraw as the iconic writer. Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Rebecca moved to New York at age 20 to pursue her acting career. While there, she appeared in many musicals including Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance, and Of Thee We Sing Gershwin; with the Spotlight Repertory Theatre, Born to Rhumba with the Duo Theatre and a world-premiere production of The Snow Queen. She wrote, compiled, and directed a fundraiser for AMFAR featuring the original works of composer Tom Simonds called Simonds Says at the West Side Dance Project with music director Andrew Lippa. She is also proud to have spent two years performing with the Manhattan Chapter of the USO.

From New York, Rebecca moved to Normal, Illinois to pursue her MFA in Acting from Illinois State University. She also spent two seasons performing with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Rebecca then spent several years teaching acting at Graceland University in Iowa and Columbus State University in Columbus, GA.

Upon retiring from teaching, Rebecca has resumed her acting career full time, and has appeared regionally with such companies as Cortland Repertory Theatre (Damn Yankees, All Shook Up, Les Miserablés), Prather Entertainment (The Unsinkable Molly Brown, The Drowsy Chaperone), Blue Gate Musicals (Half-Stitched), and The Springer Opera House, State Theatre of Georgia (The Full Monty, Dinner with Friends, Enchanted April).

This play is rated PG-13 for some mild language and content.

The Nebraska Theatre Caravan is the professional touring wing of the Omaha Community Playhouse, the nation's largest community theatre.
