Sophie Nicholson, 11 year old entrepreneur, hosted a lemonade stand for the second year, donating her proceeds to two nonprofits: $80.32 to DreamWrights and $170.71 to the SPCA. In addition to the "Free Lemonade for a donation," Sophie included a Dog Biscuit Eating Challenge which 9 people (and some dogs) took part in. In case you are wondering, these were homemade, all natural dog biscuits.
DreamWrights and the SPCA are also teaming up for the upcoming Dream Derby Road Rally on October 26th. This incredibly fun race is designed for families and friends to enjoy a competitive and challenging afternoon while raising funds for arts education for kids!
DreamWrights, now in its 16th year, is the region's non-profit, family-oriented, community theatre in which people of all ages can come together to learn and grow in a safe, supportive and positive environment.
