Servant Stage Company Announces OLD-TIME GOSPEL RADIO CHRISTMAS! ImageA Servant Stage audience favorite, the Old-Time Gospel Radio Hour is back with a special Holiday broadcast! Featuring classic Christmas favorites, inspiring new arrangements, and plenty of laughs, this high-energy Christmas celebration is sure to be a memorable and joyous event for the whole family!

"It's a show within a show, and the audience is in on the joke, serving as the 'live studio audience' for our fictional Old-Time Radio show," says Executive Director, Johnathan Bauer. "With dozens of different featured musical performers on the show there's a wonderful variety of music, and the performers are incredible. It has a bit of a Prairie Home Companion feel with a variety of music and old-time comedy."

The show includes more than 50 local performers, led by Duane Hespell and Jon Rider in the role of the radio host. Musical acts range from a bluegrass band to a close-harmony ladies group in the style of the Andrews Sisters, to a virtuoso accordionist, and local favorites Ric Zimmerman, Reji Woods, and Sarah Cope as featured vocalists.

"I think the most unique and enjoyable part of this show is its upbeat nature and variety," says Shaun Ressler, who sings bass in the Southern Gospel men's quartet on the show. "Between the classic Christmas favorites, witty humor, and energetic personalities, this show is sure to reach everyone."

In keeping with Servant Stage's mission to make professional theatre accessible to everyone in the community, all performances are offered as Pay-What-You-Will.
