Servant Stage Company Announces 2017 Season

Servant Stage Company announced their 2017 season of shows at a public celebration and fundraising event on Sunday, October 16, 2016. The 2017 season will include several family-friendly Broadway musicals, an original song-and-dance revue, an award-winning comedy, and a special holiday treat.

Servant Stage's 2017 season features:

Little Women, the Broadway musical (February and March) Based on the classic American novel, a heartwarming and intimate story of friendship, love, and family.

The Civil War (May and June) Frank Wildhorn's thrilling and awe-inspiring dramatic concert, puts a human face on one of the defining moments in American history.

Sing Sing Swing, (July and August) A joyful and nostalgic song-and-dance tribute to the Swing era, featuring the wonderful music of legends like Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Benny Goodman.

Around the World in 80 Days (September) The award-winning comedy adapted by Mark Brown, it's the original amazing race, full of danger, romance, and comic surprises in this whirlwind of a show.

Old-Time Gospel Radio Christmas (November and December) A Servant Stage audience favorite - the Old-Time Gospel Radio Hour returns for the 4th year with a special Holiday twist, featuring fiddles, banjos, Southern Gospel harmonies, and toe-tappin', hand-clappin' tidings of comfort and joy.

Performances will tour to locations across Lancaster County as Servant Stage seeks to make outstanding, uplifting and professional entertainment easily accessible to everyone. Due to the success and demand of their inaugural Summer Musical Theatre Camp, Servant Stage will be partnering with Lancaster Bible College to host two musical theatre camps for students ages 10-18. Students will rehearse and perform full-length student productions and participate in daily workshops and masterclasses with a camp staff of experienced theatre professionals.
