Millbrook Playhouse is proud to present The Playhouse premiere of Rock of Ages, Broadway's hilarious and sexy homage to the wilder side of the 80s, complete with live rock band and a "We're Not Gonna Take It" attitude.

It's the tail end of the big, bad 1980s in Hollywood, and the party has been raging hard. Aqua Net, Lycra, lace and liquor flow freely at one of the Sunset Strips last legendary venues, The Burbon Room, a place where sex machine Stacee Jaxx takes the stage and scantily clad groupies line up to turn their fantasies into reality.

Amidst the madness, aspiring rock star (and resident toilet cleaner) Drew longs to take the stage as the next big thing (and longs for small-town girl Sherri, fresh off the bus from Kansas with stars in her eyes). But the rock and roll fairy-tale is about to end when German developers sweep into town with plan to turn the fabled Strip into just another capitalist strip mall.

Can Drew, Sherri and the gang save the strip-and themselves-before it's too late? Only the music of hit bands Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and more hold the answer.

What is Rock of Ages Like? Channeling every totally rad '80s cliché in the book, Rock of Ages is superfluous silliness at its best. A high-energy dive into a living, breathing music video, the show-which never takes itself seriously-races quickly along, riding high on nostalgia and hairspray. The live band onstage and playlist of karaoke-friendly classics encourages a great time for everyone.

Returning for his second season Robert W. Schneider (Leading Ladies, Broadway Showstoppers) serves as Director and Courtney Laine Self (Mary Poppins, Little Mermaid) will serve as Choreographer, the production's Musical Director and Conductor is Justin Adams.

The cast is led by Rachel Marie Snyder as Sherri, Christopher Lee Viljoen as Drew, and Chas Conacher as Stacee Jaxx. The cast also features: Brad Foster Reinking as Lonny, Jeffrey Hyman as Dennis, Kali Haines as Regina, James Cella as Franz, David Groccia as Hertz, Sammi Sadicario as Justice, Kyle Blocker as the Mayor/Ja'Keith, Jenna Miller as Waitress #1, Isabel Nesti as Constance, Ryan Lauer as the sleazy recored Producer, Christina Kidd as Candi, Alex Beard as Joey Primo, and Meghann Reeder as Groupie.
