The Players Club of Swarthmore presents the comedy Enter Laughing Jan. 6-21, for ten performances at 614 Fairview Ave. in Swarthmore. Directed by Paul Kerrigan, the show is perfect for the family and is a comical start to the new year for Players Club of Swarthmore. Buy tickets online at www.pcstheater.org

Enter Laughing, based on the autobiographical novel by iconic writer-comedian Carl Reiner, and written by Joseph Stein (Fiddler on the Roof) tells the tale of actor wannabe David Kolowitz (Mike Sokolowski), who joins a broken-down theater company. While chasing his dream, Kolowitz encounters a grandiose has-been of a director, his flaky actress daughter, and host of colorful characters in 1930s New York. This Broadway hit has non-stop laughs for audiences of all ages.

Sokolowski (Philadelphia) leads a cast of 14 regional actors including Rick Gross (Philadelphia), DJ Gleason (Media), Emily-Grace Murray (Drexel Hill), Seth Koch (Philadelphia), Adam Young (Lansdowne), Connor Behm (Philadelphia), Joe Tranchitella (Springfield), Elizabeth Hennessey (Coaetsville), Leslie Norton (Media), Michael Tamin Yurcaba (Lansdowne), Blake Eckert (Ridley Park), Joe Selfridge (Philadelphia), and Ryan Henzes (Philadelphia).

Enter Laughing runs from Friday, Jan. 6 through Saturday, Jan .21. Thursday performances are at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. Audiences can meet the artists in a talkback discussion after the Jan. 15 performance.
