This production is directed by Charles Abbott, having previously directed Deathtrap at the Fulton and having appeared most recently as the Childcatcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Peter Simon Hilton (Henry Higgins in the Fulton/Lancaster Symphony My Fair Lady co-production) plays Leonard Vole, the man on trial accused of murder.
This play also sees the return of several actors familiar to Fulton audiences. Greg Wood (Herbie in Gypsy, Alan in God of Carnage), David Girolmo (Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd, Max in Sunset Boulevard),Allison Edwards (Eleanor of Aquitaine in The Lion in Winter), Michael Iannucci (Cholet in Phantom, Zangler in Crazy for You), John-Charles Kelly (Captain Smollett in Treasure Island), Don Rey (Tenor inPhantom), BrIan Martin (Paravicini in The Mousetrap) and Sue Cella (Elizabeth in Gaslight). Making their Fulton debuts are Kevin Collins and Chris Dunlop.
