ActorsNET presents the world premiere staging of The Crimes of Diana Eastlake by Mort Paterson.

"The Crimes of Diana Eastlake has been in the works for more than a year, undergoing revisions after several public readings elsewhere," Ms. Doyle explained. "In it, a widowed socialite learns her daughter - who had been volunteering to treat victims in a war-torn county - has been abducted and is being held for ransom by Middle Eastern terrorists. The distraught mother soon learns it is illegal to pay ransom demands to terrorists and has to find a way to do so even if it means risking arrest and imprisonment herself."

Cheryl Doyle and her company co-founder husband, Joe, co-direct a cast of popular ActorsNET stage veterans, including Carol Thompson as DianaEastlake, along with George Hartpence, George Agalias, Ken Ammerman, Maryalice Rubins-Topoleski, Susan Blair, and Hayley Rubins-Topoleski. In his ActorsNET stage debut is Joseph Ryan, portraying the kidnapped daughter's coworker and boyfriend who was also kidnapped and then released by thecaptors to deliver ransom demands to the mother.
