"When I was a boy, I wished I could fly." With these words, Peter and the Starcatcher, a grownup's prequel to Peter Pan, sets sail on a magical voyage to answer the century old-question: How did a boy named Peter become the boy who wouldn't grow up?

Get ready for an evening of wildly theatrical fun as a company of twelve actors plays more than one hundred unforgettable characters and proves that your imagination is the most captivating place in the world. This five-time Tony Award-winning play with music, described by The New York Times as "the most exhilarating storytelling on Broadway in decades, is an action-packed journey that brings pirates, mermaids, orphans, and secret agents of the Queen together on the high seas. Peter and the Starcatcher will hook you from the first swashbuckling moment as it sets the stage for an absurdly funny, fantastical romp through the Neverland you never knew!

Following the sold out run of Shrek The Musical at the Playhouse at Allenberry, Keystone Theatrics is thrilled to announce full casting of the season's first play, running from September 8-16, 2017. The production will star Garrett Knisley as Boy/Peter, Jeremy Slagle as Black Stache, and Rebecca Schrom as Molly. They will be joined by a versatile cast of characters including Drew Patti as Smee, Josh Lebo as Bill Slank/Hawking Clam, Matthew Mercado as Grempkin/Fighting Prawn/Mack/Sanchez, Caleb Deutsch as Prentiss, Jackson Siegel as Ted, Brian Valley as Alf, Rob Kopko as Mrs. Bumbrake/Teacher, Kenneth Person as Lord Leonard Aster, and Ron Ross as Captain Robert Falcon Scott.

The show is directed by Dave Olmsted with vocal direction by Mary Butler George. The show is stage managed by Marcie Warner and Hope Rohrbaugh. Based on the bestselling novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, and written by Rick Elice (Jersey Boys) with music by Wayne Baker, this production of Peter and the Starcatcher at the Playhouse at Allenberry weaves an enchanting coming-of-age tale that's bound to appeal to your entire crew. The show was originally produced on Broadway by Nancy Nagel Gibbs, Greg Schaffert, Eva Price, Tom Smedes, and Disney Theatrical Productions, and is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

Peter and the Starcatcher will be performed on September 8, 9, 14, 15, 16 at 7:30 P.M. Matinee performances are September 9, 10, 16 at 2:00 PM. The show will be performed at the Playhouse at Allenberry, located on the Allenberry Resort at 1559 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, PA 17007.
