Oyster Mill Playhouse to Host First One-Act Play Festival, 6/19-21

Oyster Mill Playhouse will present the "Not The Run of The Mill Play Festival" June 19-21. We will be featuring four one-act plays written by local playwrights.

"Paper Trail" by Cindy Dlugolecki is about one 50-year old file folder, two fraudulent secrets, three families, deceit challenges a daughter & her parents to forgive and forge a new relationship; "The Imposter's Snow Cone Machine" by Paul Hood tells the story of the discovery of an old family heirloom that helps rebuild a disconnection between a father and son healing from a family tragedy; "Sight Unseen" by Lori Myers is about a young man, thinks he's found the woman of his dreams in a bar, but become disillusioned as her true personality begins to emerge. Meanwhile best friend offers advice on the meaning of "true" love; "36 Across" by Jessica Weber tells the story of how one couple use their habitual comforts to camouflage a navigation of mourning, love & strength.

Performances are 8 p.m. Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20; 2 p.m. Sunday, June 21. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at www.oystermill.com.
