New Feathers Productions Announces New Venue for Second Season  ImageNEW FEATHERS PRODUCTIONS (NFP), after gaining an exciting cult-following from their 2017 premiere at the famed Raven Resort in New Hope, Producers Mandee K. Hammerstein, Greg T. Nanni, and John Augustine enthusiastically announce their new "nest" for a much-anticipated second season at Bucks County's leading arts and cultural institution, the James A. Michener Art Museum.

In celebration of the Michener's 30th anniversary year, the Museum is honoring its founder, James A. Michener, and the rich literary heritage of the region. By partnering with the team of New Feathers Productions through this original and entertaining new series, the Museum looks forward to engaging Michener audiences while enticing new ones - stated producer Mandee K. Hammerstein of NFP. Select proceeds of all NFP ticket sales additionally benefit the James A. Michener's educational programming department. The NFP series schedule is as follows (specific works and performers TBA):

Thurs., November 1st, 7 pm Theatrical Shorts - featuring six new, 10-15 minute plays

7pm, Thurs., November 15th, Two Mid-Length Play Presentations

7pm, Thurs., December 20th, Specially-Selected Featured, Full-Length

The new NFP location at the Michener Art Museum will offer theater enthusiasts and theater-curious patrons a robust and multi-dimensional creative experience prior to each 7pm performance. NFP ticket holders will receive complimentary museum entry including access to the Michener's latest visual arts exhibitions (including Leslie Pontz: Integration, on view from November 3, 2018 through February 17, 2019, and Frank Hyder: The Janus Project, on view from November 10, 2018 through February 23, 2019), the permanent collection (30 Years: Art at the Michener, 1988-2018), as well as a pass to the popular NFP pre-show gatherings. Tickets are $20.00 each.

Additionally, New Feathers Productions announces open casting auditions for the reading series at the museum, located at 138 S. Pine St., Doylestown, PA 18901 for Sunday, August 19th between the hours of 12pm - 4pm. Casting is open to all ages over 18 and all ethnicities. Union and non-Union welcome. Sides for auditioning will be provided, however actors should also bring one two minute monologue of choice, as well as a resume and headshot. All casted positions for the readings will be provided payment via stipend. For those of Actors Equity Association, readings are presented under the AEA Members Project Code/Fringe Festival Code.

Producers Greg T. Nanni, John Augustine and Mandee K. Hammerstein will facilitate the open call audition. Actors interested in auditioning or who can only make specific time slots for the 19th may email NewFeathersProductions@gmail.com. Please email your headshot/resume, your preferred time slot, and if you can be present to perform on 11/01, 11/15, and/or 12/05.

The James A. Michener Art Museum collects, preserves, interprets, and exhibits American art, and promotes the work of nationally and internationally known Delaware Valley artists of all eras and creative disciplines.
