PRiMA Theatre, a Lancaster non-profit, professional theatre organization, has announced their fifth anniversary season (Details at primatheatre.org), starting with FIVE, a special fifth anniversary cabaret featuring PRiMA's finest talent and the unforgettable show-stopping tunes from the past five seasons. Professional performers include Kristen Brewer, Michael Fisher, Josh Keefer, Erin McCullough, Reji Woods. The singers will be accompanied by Music Director and acclaimed regional pianist Andy Roberts. Past shows represented by song include PRiMA's Glee, The Music of West Side Story, Chess, Guilty Pleasures, Rockin Rodgers & Hammerstein, Songs For A New World, Monster Music, 80's Re-Lived! and Oz in Concert.
Two other performers to highlight are Randy Jeter and Sarah Timm.
Randy is excited to be back with PRiMA after last being seen in Guilty Pleasures Cabaret. A native to Washington DC, Randy received his training in Musical Theater and Classical Voice from Manhattan School of Music. Randy was last seen in Parable of the Sower at The Public Theater in New York City. He also just completed the 2014 season with American Music Theater, which included Joy to the World and Music of the Night, The Songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber. International Tours; The Phantom of the Opera and The Temptation of St. Anthony. Sarah Timm is no stranger to PRiMA world! She has been with the company since it began, involved with nearly every show as a performer, music arranger, greeter, PRiMA Sister, and she has made quite a splash as the official "PRiMA Mermaid!" Sarah was a lead singer this past year at American Music Theatre, has also worked with the Fulton Theatre, and performed at Sight & Sound Theatres for five years. She is a member of Actor's Equity Association, a runner-up to Miss Pennsylvania in the Miss America pageant system, and is a classically-trained soprano singer. FIVE will play January 31 at 3pm and 7pm. The performances will be held in the rarely seen and beautiful masonic room, upstairs at the City Visitors Center, hosted by the Lancaster Office of Promotion, formally the Mayor's Office of Special Events.
