The Belmont Theatre will present the hilarious comedy Love, Sex & The I.R.S. by Billy Zandt & Jane Milmore in the Bon-Ton Studio January 11-13 & 17-20. Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday shows are at 3:00 p.m. Start the new year with a night out filled with laughter!

Do not mis this hilarious farce that is like a cross between I Love Lucy and Some Like it Hot. Jon Trachtman and Leslie Arthur are out of work musicians who room together in New York City. To save money, Jon has been filing tax returns listing the pair as married. The day of reckoning comes when the Internal Revenue Service informs the "couple" they're going to be investigated. Leslie masquerades as a housewife, aided by Jon's fiancée, Kate. Complicating matters further, Leslie and Kate are having an affair behind Jon's back, Jon's mother drops in unexpectedly to meet her son's fiancée, and Leslie's ex-girlfriend shows up demanding to know why Leslie has changed and won't see her anymore.

LOVE, SEX & THE I.R.S. is directed by Andrea Stephenson. The cast features Tyler Chick as Jon Trachtman, Ernesto Rosas as Leslie Arthur, Jim Clark as Floyd Spinner, Amber Gamber as Kate Dennis, Patee Pizzirusso as Vivian Trachtman, Calvin Emery as Mr. Jansen, Kristie Starrett as Connie, and Chris Walsh as Arnold Grunion.
