MEET THE GUEST ARTISTS:
Joy Lynn Jacobs appeared in the Broadway revival of The Music Man, the world premier of Marie Christine in the role of Beatrice, and before that, the first national Broadway tour productions of Ragtime and Show Boat. Joy created the role of Power Woman for the Off-Broadway hit Menopause The Musical and starred in that production for more than four years! Other credits have included Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Lady Tiang in The King & I; Aldonza in Man Of La Mancha; Anita in West Side Story; and Mercedes in the opera armen. joylynnjacobs.com
Destan Owens has appeared on Broadway in Chicago, Smokey Joe' Café,Sisterlla and The Who's Tommy. Off Broadway and other credits include Rent, Dreamgirls, Jesus Christ Superstar Gospel, Stormy Weather: The Lena Horne Story, Soul Possessed, It Happened In Little Rock, Carmen, Trouble in Tahiti, and A Little Night Music. His television and film credits include Marie and Bruce, Get Rick or Die Trying, Across the Universe, and 30 Rock. Mr. Owen's has also been a soloist with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Southwest Florida Symphony, Florida Orchestra, Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Grand Rapids Symphony, Lake Charles Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, and The Long Island Philharmonic.
