JUNIE B. JONES THE MUSICAL Opens July 20th At The Millbrook Playhouse

Millbrook Playhouse opens their Saturday Morning Theatre for Young Audience series with JUNIE B. JONES -The Musical. Created by Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich - a delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park's best-selling books, brought to life in a genuinely comical (and not strictly-for-kids) musical.

Sneak a peek into the "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal" of the outspoken and lovable Junie B. Jones! It's Junie B's first day of first grade, and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie's friend, Lucille, doesn't want to be her best pal anymore and, on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting.

The JUNIE B. JONES -The Musical cast include; Vanessa Kolbosky as Junie B. Jones, and featuring the talented ensemble of Gianina Mugavero, Alison Fisher, Sammy Schechter, and Mitch Connelly, playing all the other characters in Junie B's world. The Director is Joshua Davis Farner, Music Director is Lydia Haasl, Choreographer is Gianina Mugavero, Stage Manager is Jacqueline Adams, Scenic Design is Crystal Fercy, Lighting and Sound Designer is Emily Dellinger, Costume Designer is Ansley Juan, Prop Design er is Rachel Hartmann, Sound Design: Chase Hendrickson, and Production Manager isHarry Cencer

Tickets are on sale now at the Millbrook Playhouse in the Ryan Mainstage July 20, 27 & August 3, 2019 at 10:00 am. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students. Group rates are available.
