Hershey Community Chorus Seeks New Members

he Hershey Community Chorus is looking to add new members to its ranks. Once again the Chorus is offering a free, no-obligation test drive to anyone who might be interested in joining.

The first test drive will be on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 7 PM at the Hershey Free Church, 330 Hilltop Road, Hummelstown, when the Chorus holds its first rehearsal for its 2017 Christmas concert. Another test drive will be held the following Monday, August 28, at the same time and place. The Hershey Free Church is at 330 Hilltop Road, Hummelstown. New members can register for the upcoming season right after the rehearsals. The registration fee is $30.00 which helps cover the cost of music and other expenses.

This year's Christmas concerts, entitled "Gloria Hallelujah", features many new selections for the Chorus a cappella and accompanied by organ. This year's guest musician for this concert is Dan Umholtz, well-known local organist. Rehearsals are Monday evenings 7:00 pm to 9:15 PM, at the Hershey Free Church. Concerts are Friday, December 8th and Sunday, December 10th.
