The Playhouse will kick off its 15th season Feb. 12-15 and 19-22, 2015, with The Fantasticks, a charming musical tale of love and deceit directed by Dara Rees.

From April 16-19 and 23-26, 2015, Jeff Cartwright directs Lend Me a Tenor, a dramatic comedy about misunderstandings and mistaken identity one eventful evening in 1934 at the Grand Opera Company.

Oliver Twist takes the stage in the musical interpretation of the Charles Dickens' classic, Oliver! Follow the adventures of Oliver as he journeys from the orphanage to the streets seeking a place to belong. Directed by Cory Wilkerson, performances will take place July 16-19 and 23-26, 2015.

Just in time for Halloween, 39 Steps is a hilarious thriller best known as the 1935 film directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Four actors play over 100 characters during this show directed by Jennifer Feldser. Shows will be presented Oct. 8-11 and 15-18, 2015.

It's a Wonderful Life, directed by Marcie Warner, is a heartwarming and familiar play, which centers around George Bailey, a frustrated and desperate businessman. In his despair, an angel comes to the rescue by showing him what life would be like if he was never born. This play requires a full cast of adults and children ready to celebrate the positive message of the show and the Christmas season. Shows will take place Dec. 3-6 and 10-13, 2015.

The Playhouse will also feature talented young actors in the musical A Charlie Brown Christmas, directed by Jill Panyard, from Dec. 17-20, 2015. The Playhouse is one of the first theatres in the area to secure the just-released license for this show.

All performances will take place at Hershey Area Playhouse, 830 Cherry Drive, Hershey, Pa. Show times are 7:30 p.m., Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sundays.
