Hershey Area Playhouse will brighten the holidays with its musical production of The Littlest Angel, November 29-December 2 and December 6-9, 2012.
This classic Christmas story of a little angel who is transformed from a celestial pest to the toast of the Heavenly Host is brought magically to life in this humorous, touching, and, above all, inspirational musical. Filled with melody and mirth, the story follows the adventures (and misadventures) of the Littlest Angel, from her reluctant entry through the Pearly Gates to the triumphant conclusion when her gift to the newborn Christ Child is miraculously transformed into the shining Star of Bethlehem.
“When a mischievous little child enters heaven, she finds a new world of wonder. One day the archangel makes an announcement that God is to have a son. Every angel rushes to find the perfect gift. The Littlest Angel, with her tilted halo and untesTed Wings, has no idea what to do, until she realizes that the most valuable gift always comes from the heart,” said Director Renee Krizan.
The musical features theatre veteran Don Bowman as the Gatekeeper, Alexa Day as the Littlest Angel, Tyler Law as the Understanding Angel and Abigail Bridgeman as the Small Angel. Other cast members include: SallyAnn Arndt, Acadia Banis, Tim Banis, Dylan Byrd, Michelle Jackson, Lorie Kimmel, Maddison King, Richard Rauscher, Zoe Marion Rauscher, Ken Skelly, Colby Thompson and Courtney Wood.
