HUMBLE HONOR: WITNESS TO GETTYSBURG Set for Ware Center, 1/25

It was a terrible war that changed the course of this nation. Now film and stage actor Jeremy Kendall has set some of the most dramatic stories of the men who fought and died there into an original work-n-progress "Humble Honor: Witness to Gettysburg." The play will be presented at the Ware Center on January 25 at 7:30 PM and officially kicks-off the Spring, 2014 Season for the Ware & Winter Centers of Millersville University.

This emotional one-man journey weaves together stories of unknown soldiers and civilians whose lives intersected at the Battle of Gettysburg as they fought, died and witnessed- during one of the bloodiest wars in our history- three days that changed the course of our nation. Kendall is an expert in dialogues so expect Southern and Northern accents - even Irish ones.

Based on historical facts, but with artistic license, Kendall hopes to bring even the most dedicated history buffs along on the journey. Jeremy Kendall graduated with an M.F.A. from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln He has appeared in many regional theaters, indie films and commercials across the country, and is a proud member of Actor's Equity and SAG/AFTRA. In addition to acting, Jeremy is also an instructor of theater at Lancaster's Country Day School.

This is a "Pay What You Will performance". There is no cost for the ticket. You pay whatever amount - if any - you choose.
