GMEDC & Elks Theatre to Host TRIBUTE TO THE TROOPS, Today

The Greater Middletown Economic Development Corporation (GMEDC) & The Elks Theatre will present the 2nd Annual Tribute To The Troops event. This event will be held on June 14th starting at 11:00AM. The event is FREE to the public and Sponsored by the Middletown Memorial VFW Post 1620.

This is the second year the GMEDC and the VFW Post 1620 have worked together to bring you this memorial event. The event will be held at the Elks Theatre 4 W. Emaus St. Middletown, PA and kick off at 11:00 AM with a Free Military Memorabilia Display out the Elks Theatre building.

The display will be open until 4:00PM. Staring at 4:00PM there will be a small ceremony in the theatre to honor local veterans and current serving military. Those military personnel in attendance will receive a certificate of appreciation from the citizens of Middletown. Following the ceremony the Elks Theatre will screen a FREE MOVIE: We Were Soldiers starring Mel Gibson.

The movie will also be show on Sunday June 15th at 2:30 pm for free as well.
