Beginning on January 1, 2015, Renee Morth accepted the full time position of Director of Education at DreamWrights Youth & Family Theatre. Hearing word of the open job position through a friend, Renee Morth took an easy trip to the DreamWrights website and "the rest is history" - or so she says.

When asked what attracted her to DreamWrights, Renee replied, "First and foremost is the dedication that DreamWrights has to providing quality theatre experiences for people of all ages through performance and education. Having directed several theatre productions that included individuals of all ages, I find it wonderful to watch the positive multi-generational interactions that naturally occur during rehearsals as everyone works together to create something greater than themselves."

"Additionally, I have very fond memories of a theatre similar to DreamWrights where I performed as a young actor in my teens. I was rather shy and those experiences helped me to gain confidence and nurtured me into becoming the free, creative spirit that I am today. I firmly believe in the power that theatre has to bring people together, empowering its participants and audiences alike. These are the ideals that I see present at DreamWrights."

Renee brings a wealth of experience to the position. She worked as a professional actor for ten years both with national and international touring companies performing in plays and musicals alike. She was an educational entertainer in South Korea, performing in interactive, originally written productions that taught English. She held the position of Theatre Director at an independent school for seven years, directing over 25 productions and teaching theatre courses in Acting, Directing and Shakespeare. Renee is a member of Actor's Equity Association, American Alliance for Theatre and Education and holds a BFA in Acting and a MA in Educational Theatre from New York University. In short, "theatre is my life!"
