Are your convictions certain? Keep your eyes open as Doubt weaves its way to EPAC.
Doubt is set in the fictional St. Nicholas Church School in the Bronx during the fall of 1964. It follows the schools rigid and vigilant principal, Sister Aloysius's, attempts to uncover the true nature of Father Flynn's interest in the school's first black student, Donald Miller. Father Flynn preaches on the importance of doubt, but now he's the one in question. The inspiration for the 2008 Academy Award-winning movie of the same name, Doubt deals with the uncomfortable and controversial issues of child abuse within the Catholic Church and forms a parable of incrimination and humanity. Take the philosophical plunge! Doubt will run from September 7, 2017, through September 16, 2017, at the Sharadin Bigler Theatre.
