They say opposites attract, but newlyweds Paul and Corie Bratter truly put this to the test. He's a straight-as-an-arrow lawyer and she's a free spirit always looking for the latest kick. After a six-day honeymoon, the newlyweds move into a fifth-floor flat with a broken radiator and a hole in the skylight. Corie's next big idea is to play matchmaker with her mother and neighbor-in-the-attic, Velasco, and everything that can go wrong, does. Sparks fly as Corie and Paul's relationship is tested. She wants him to be more spontaneous. Running "barefoot in the park" would be a start...
Playing the newlyweds will be Rachel Marie Snyder (Rocky Horror, Rock of Ages, The Little Mermaid), as Corie Bratter, and Millbrook newcomer Sean O'Connor will play Paul Bratter. Also starring Monica Howe as Mrs. Banks, Thomas-Robert Irvin as Victor Velasco, Isaac Conner as HarRy Pepper and David Gritzner as the Delivery Man.
Shannon Agnew, one of Millbrook's long time favorite performers, will be donning a new hat this season as the production's director. Ms. Agnew last appeared in Kitchen Witches, The Marvelous Wonderettes and The Little Mermaid. The creative team includes Set Design by Meg Mcguigan, Costume Design by Jesse R. Shipley, Lighting Design by Ethan Vail, Props Design by Savannah Draper, and Sound Design by Damien Figueras.
