Bristol Riverside Theatre kicks off its Summer Music Fest series with Unforgettable: A Tribute to America's Greatest Songwriters on June 14-24. Unforgettable presents the best songs from pop culture, musicals, and movies, with selections such as "Night & Day", "Summertime", and "The Pink Panther Theme". Led by Keith Baker and the BRT Band, the program features BRT favorites Demetria Joyce Bailey, Philip Chaffin, Derrick Cobey, Elyse Langley, and Keith Spencer.
Performances are Thursday, June 14 at 7:30PM; Friday, June 15 and 22 at 8:00 PM; Saturday, June 16 at 8:00 PM; Sunday, June 17 and 24 at 3:00 PM; Wednesday, June 20 and Thursday, June 21 at 2:00 PM; and Saturday, June 23 at 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The Summer Music Fest series continues with Time in a Bottle (July 12, 2018 - July 22, 2018) featuring songs of the 60s and 70s, and Broadway Summer Spectacular (August 9, 2018 - August 19, 2018), bringing Broadway to Bristol in an evening packed with Broadway hits from composers like Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jerry Herman, and Leonard Bernstein.
Since 1986, BRT has continued to bring critically acclaimed professional theatre to Bucks County. The theatre is the recipient of over 68 Barrymore Award nominations for Excellence in Theatre, given annually by Theatre Philadelphia. Under the direction of Artistic Director Keith Baker and Founding Director Susan D. Atkinson, the theatre serves as a cultural hub for the community.
