AN ACT OF GOD Opens at Millbrook Playhouse This Month

The Board of Directors and Artistic Director, David Leidholdt, are excited to present AN ACT OF GOD by David Javerbaum, playing from July 27th to August 5th in the Poorman Cabaret.

The One with the first and last word on everything has finally arrived to set the record straight. After many millennia, and in just 90 minutes (or less), God (assisted by His devoted angels) answers some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since Creation, and gifts his mortals with an entirely new set of Ten Commandments in a sinfully funny whirlwind of comedy heaven!

Written by 13-time Emmy Award winner David Javerbaum, this exceptional comedy delivers a new meaning to the phrase, "divine intervention!" Rated PG-13. WARNING: This show contains the expression of theological opinions, shiny costumes, and pop ballads (some strong language.)

Directed by Adam Knight. Starring Millbrook Royalty Marc De La Concha (Kitchen Witches, Forum, Little Shop, Miss Abigail's Guide)? ?as God (of course), and featuring Galen Molk (Footlight Frenzy) as Michael and Jonah Conner (Pinkalicious director) as Gabriel.

AN ACT OF GOD production team includes Set Design by Caleb Stroman, Costume Design by Kasee Arnett, Lighting Design by Raven Shellman, Sound Design by Adam Visconti, and Props Design by David Singleton, Associate Props Designer Andrew Lubbert.

Tickets are on sale now at the Millbrook Playhouse in the Poorman Cabaret July 27-28 and August 1-4 at 7:30 pm and matinees are July 29 and August 1 and 5 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for students. NEW THIS SEASON: Discounted ticket prices on Wednesday evening and Sunday matinees, all tickets are 10% off. Group rates are available.
