Tri-Cities Opera launches its 75th season with an adaptation of Mozart's The Magic Flute, featuring two performances at the Forum Theatre. The production tells the story of Prince Tamino and his companion Papageno as they embark on a transformative journey reflecting the struggle between light and darkness. Directed by Stefanos Koroneos, this one-hour English rendition offers a unique visual experience, enhanced by dynamic lighting integrated into the storytelling. The first performance will take place on September 6 as part of the LUMA Projection Arts Festival, with a traditional matinee following on September 8.
