The next participant in Bridge Street Theatres continuing Winter Dance Residency series is the Thang Dao Dance Company. While living together at the theatre from February 28 through March 13, Dao and his colleagues will develop an all-new piece for four dancers exploring the intersection of dance, film, and digital technology and examining the complexity of human connection at the boundary between proximal and distant attachment. A free online video excerpt of this adventurous work-in-progress will be available to the public during the final weekend of the residency, beginning at 7:00pm ET Friday March 12 and ending at 11:59pm ET Sunday March 14 on the Bridge Street Theatre YouTube channel. Underwritten by Duke Dang and Charles Rosen, Bridge Street Theatres Dance Residency initiative is dedicated to the memory of their friend and mentor Anh-Tuyet AT Nguyen.
