CENTERstage productions brings you Rodgers & Hammersteins' romantic Broadway musical set during World War II. Based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel, "Tales of the South Pacific", South Pacific opened on Broadway in 1949 and was an immense critical and box-office hit, enjoying what was then the second-longest Broadway run for a musical, and has remained popular ever since.

With hit songs including "Bali Ha'i", "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair", "Younger Than Springtime", "I'm in Love with a Wonderful Guy" and the standard "Some Enchanted Evening" the original Broadway production won ten Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book.
