Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts will present "The John Denver Christmas Show" along with a holiday fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m.

Known mostly for his "Rocky Mountain High", "Take Me Home Country Roads", and "Annie's Song" among others, John Denver earned his place as one of America's best-selling artists of the 1970's. In addition to his chart-topping records, he was also know for his seasonal Rocky Mountain Christmas special, which was viewed by over 60 million people, ranking as ABC's highest-rated show at that time.

Chris Collins and Boulder Canyon bring John Denver's Rocky Mountain Christmas special to Patchogue Theatre with "The John Denver Christmas Show". Winning much acclaim and delighting audiences across the country, Chris Collins and Boulder Canyon will bring audiences home for the holidays with music from an artist that shaped a generation. "The John Denver Christmas Show" is a delightful blend of traditional Christmas music with some of America's favorite John Denver hits and songs of the season.

This special night will also include a pre-show cocktail party fundraiser for Patchogue Theatre. For a donation of $50, patrons can enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres before the show. Every dollar that is donated goes directly towards creating Patchogue Theatre's programming. It is with the generous support of its patrons that the organization is able to continue its mission of entertaining audiences with shows like these.
Tickets for "The John Denver Christmas Show" are available online, by phone or at the box office. Ticket prices range from $35 to $65, plus applicable ticket fees. For more information, call the Patchogue Theatre box office at 631-207-1313 or visit PatchogueTheatre.org.
