Two Mamaroneck based theatres – one - the oldest continuously operated theatre (and soon to be 40 years old) in Westchester, the Emelin Theatre, and the other the 4 year old Westchester Sandbox Theatre team up this summer.

The Emelin Theatre will host the Sandbox Theatre's upcoming production of Smokey Joe's Café which will run June 29, 30 & July 1,6,7,8. Performances are Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm and Sunday afternoons at 3pm. All tickets are $28.

Smokey Joe's Café, the longest running musical revue in the history of Broadway, celebrating the song writing duo Leiber and Stoller and their chart-toppers: "Poison Ivy," "Love Potion # 9," "Yakety Yak," "Hound Dog," "Stand By Me" and many more! Fusing jazz and blues with good old fashioned rock and roll, Smokey Joe's Café is filled with wall-to-wall music that will have the entire family dancing in their seats. The Sandbox Theatre's production of Smokey Joe's is directed by a Smokey Joe's veteran, Kenneth M. Green and features a NYC based cast of fantastically talented professionals.
