Mr. Underwood will act as an Artistic Lead on virtual theatrical programming.
Redhouse Arts Center has named Actor and Director Temar Underwood as its Associate Director of Artistic Programming. This interim position will allow Redhouse to be able to continue virtual theater programming until such time as it can welcome back live audiences and launch a full Main Stage season again.
Mr. Underwood will act as an Artistic Lead on virtual theatrical programming as well as programming in conjunction with Redhouse's Education Department and partner organizations.

He has always been a favorite of our audiences as an actor and director and has earned the respect of his peers and those he has directed. Temar Underwood is pleased to be returning to Redhouse in this new role. "It's a tough time for artists all over the country. At this wonderful theater, a theater that has been consistently at the fore of my professional development over the past decade, I am honored to have its artistic contributions to the Syracuse Community placed, for the time being, in my care. I feel the weight of that. And I will honor that" he commented.
Temar recently was named and Associate Artist at Redhouse and prior had directed last year's New Works Festival Winning play, Trophy Room, by Mike DiSalvo. As an actor he most recently performed the role of Bob Cratchit in the Redhouse Production of A Syracuse Christmas Carol and the role of Tom Collins in Redhouse's hit production of RENT.
