Redhouse will kick off its season with Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, which runs from September 20-30, 2018. Steel Magnolias, the original stage version of the 1989 movie that you know and love, celebrates the close-knit Southern belles who frequent Truvy's Beauty Salon. Amid cuts, curls and quick wit, these loveable women bond together through laughter and tears to cope with good times and bad. With its mix of quirky humor and touching sentimentality, Steel Magnolias ultimately reveals the incredible healing power of love, friendship, and laughing until you cry.
It's bound to be a merry Christmas with this holiday classic! Redhouse brings to the stage a live action, musical version of the beloved animated masterpiece, A Charlie Brown Christmas by Charles M. Schultz. Based on the television special, A Charlie Brown Christmas will run from December 6-16, 2018. Everyone is giddy with Christmas cheer, but Charlie Brown has the Yuletide blues. Join Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Snoopy, and the rest of the gang as they discover the true meaning of Christmas in this heartwarming musical adaptation featuring the iconic score by Vince Guaraldi. This is one holiday gift the entire family will adore!

Redhouse will start looking for spring with the Tony Award winning play I'm Not Rappaport by Herb Gardner, which will run March 14-24, 2019. Inspired by two elderly men the playwright met in New York City's Central Park, the play focuses on the unlikely friendship between Nat Moyer, a feisty Jewish man with leftist leanings and Midge Carter, a cantankerous, half-blind building superintendant. Their dialogue unfolds like a vaudeville act as they bond together to battle the realities of growing up, growing old and growing friends. I'm Not Rappaport will mark a very special professional reunion as Redhouse favorite Fred Grandy (Gopher on Love Boat) joins Ted Lange (Isaac on Love Boat) on stage as the two aging friends. I'm Not Rappaport will mark the first time Grandy and Lange have worked together since their iconic roles on Love Boat.
