The John W. Engeman Theater is happy to announce that Patti LuPone will offer a second performance of her show Don't Monkey with Broadway.
"We received a tremendous response after announcing the first performance, and Patti LuPone has graciously added this second date, which will provide further support to the Northport High School Performing Arts Department," said theater owners Richard T. Dolce and Kevin J. O'Neill. "We are thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to host Patti LuPone for her first concert in her hometown."
The second performance will occur on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 8 p.m.
Tickets are being sold through a lottery to Engeman Theater Season Ticket Holders. The winners of the lottery were announced Wednesday, September 21st at a press conference held at the John W. Engeman Theater. The winners were selected by members of the Northport High School choir: Garrett Flick (11th grade), Julia Hahn (10th grade), Caroline Mancino (12th grade), Daniel Rodriguez (10th grade) and Shannon Wines (10th grade). The winners will be contacted by theater staff on Thursday, September 22, and will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for one of the two performance dates. A limited number of seats will be available to the public starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 26.
