Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) and The Gateway will team up for a special presentation of GFOUR Productions' international hit show "Menopause The Musical" on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., at Patchogue Theatre. "Menopause The Musical" is a groundbreaking celebration of women who are on the brink of, in the middle of, or have survived "The Change." The full cast has been announced.

Set in a department store, four women meet while shopping for a black lace bra at a lingerie sale. After noticing similarities among one another, the cast jokes about their woeful hot flashes, mood swings, wrinkles, weight gain and much more. These women form a sisterhood and unique bond with the entire audience as they rejoice in celebrating that menopause is no longer "The Silent Passage."

Megan Cavanagh will play the Earth Mother. Cavanaugh had Hollywood in stitches in her break out role as Marla Hooch in Penny Marshall's iconic film "A League of their Own" alongside Geena Davis, Tom Hanks and Madonna. Cavanaugh also appeared in the animated film "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" along with its sequels. Her television appearances also include "Friends" and "Will and Grace."

Donna Huntley will play the Professional Woman. Some of her Broadway and regional credits include "Lena Horne: The Lady and Her Music," "Chicago," "Hairspray" and "Nunsense." She has also worked alongside with such greats as Richard Pryor, Ben Vereen, Mary Wilson among others.

Beth Buczkowski will play the Soap Star. She has played the role in countless productions of "Menopause The Musical" around the country. Her other credits include Diana in "Next to Normal" and Miss Hannigan in "Annie."
Teri Adams has been in "Menopause The Musical," where she first played the Iowa Housewife since 2006 and appeared in many incarnations. Her other regional credits include "Ruthless!," "Blues In The Night," "Dirty Blonde," "Baby," "Lend Me A Tenor," "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," and the world premiere of Gregg Coffin's "Right Next to Me."

Inspired by a hot flash and a bottle of wine, "Menopause The Musical" was created as a celebration of women who find themselves at any stage of "The Change." The laughter-filled 90-minute production gets audience members out of their seats and singing along to parodies from classic pop songs of the '60s, '70s and '80s.

"Menopause The Musical," now in its sixteenth year of production, is recognized as the longest-running scripted production in Las Vegas and continues to entertain nightly at Harrah's Las Vegas. The hilarious musical has entertained audiences across the country in more than 450 U.S. cities, nearly 300 international cities and a total of 15 countries. Tickets for "Menopause The Musical" are now available online, by phone or at the box office. Ticket prices range from $49 to $69, plus ticket convenience charges.
