Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre, already renowned for its ambitious and eclectic mix of theater, music, magic, and more, is delighted to announce the third installment in Tom Andersen's "Words and Music: The Songbook Series": the indefatigable and wildly versatile Mark Nadler in "Let's Misbehave: A Cole Porter Soirée". Come experience Porter's brilliant songs as you've -unquestionably - NEVER heard them before. Mr. Nadler tears the roof off BST's Speakeasy at 44 West Bridge Street on Saturday August 6 at 8:00pm.

Mark Nadler is an internationally acclaimed singer, pianist, tap-dancer and comedian, recipient of the 2015 Broadway World Editor's Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year, and a six-time winner of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Award. He has also received 3 Backstage Bistro Awards, 2 Bay Area Theatre Critics' Circle Awards, 1 Nightlife Award, and has been nominated for 2 Drama Desk Awards, 1 Lucile Lortel Award, and 1 Helpmann Award.

Mark has played New York City's Town Hall and in almost every significant night-club in New York City, and Los Angeles, notably, four seasons at Sardi's (where a caricature of Mark hangs among the other famous faces), 54 Below, The Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, The Cinegrill in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Maxim's and the West Bank Cabaret where he was, at the age of nineteen, the house master-of-ceremonies and musical director. Mr. Nadler has performed at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops Orchestra and has been a soloist with the Baltimore Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, Oregon Symphony, National Arts Centre Symphony in Ottawa and others. At Philadelphia's 14,000 seat Mann Center for the Performing Arts, Mark did a solo two-act evening with the New York Pops, as well as "Three Singular Sensations" with Marvin Hamlisch and Martin Short. Abroad, Mark has performed in England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Israel and Australia. Broadway credits include "Dame Edna: The Royal Tour" and "The Sheik Of Avenue 'B'.

Mark's other one-man shows include "Running Wild: Songs and Scandals of the Roaring 20's", "Addicted to the Spotlight", "They Can't Take That Away From Me: Music Of George Gershwin", "Mark Nadler In A Nutshell", "...His Lovely Wife Ira: Ira Gershwin With and Without George", "Russian on the Side", and "Crazy 1961". He has also created and co-starred in numerous revues with fellow cabaret performer KT Sullivan.

"Let's Misbehave: A Cole Porter Soirée" will be performed for one night only, Saturday August 6, at 8:00pm in the Bridge Street Theatre Speakeasy, located at 44 West Bridge Street in the Village of Catskill, NY. Tickets can be pre-purchased from BrownPaperTickets.com or by calling them at 800-838-3006. Tickets can also be purchased at the door one half hour prior to the performance on a space available basis. BST's "Words and Music" series has been extremely popular and tickets tend to sell out fast, so pre-purchase is strongly recommended. Don't miss the man Stephen Holden of the NY Times calls "Mr. Show Business...an immensely talented latter day Al Jolson."

Curated by Tom Andersen, a spectacular vocalist himself, "Words And Music: The Songbook Series" brings local audiences some of the most brilliant talents from the world of cabaret, performing some of the greatest songs ever written. Coming up next in the series: duo Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano in "Helluva Town: A New York Soundtrack" on Saturday October 1. It's impossible to imagine more sparkling, sophisticated, and scintillating evenings out. For more information, visit the theatre's website at BridgeSt.org or call their offices at 518-943-3818.
