Kitchen Theatre Company will to make it easier for students to attend the theater, offering $20 advance tickets for all remaining plays in the 2017-2018 season. Students can book tickets by phone or online and bring their student IDs upon Will Call pickup. No rush is required for this student offer.
To kick off the new program, Kitchen Theater is holding a free Back to School Student Mixer on Wednesday, January 24th at 6:30 PM. Attendees can meet other area college students, enjoy free snacks, and buy drinks from the bar. The theater will offer special $4 student cocktails and mocktails. Stay for the play Ironbound at 7:30, whose cast includes Ithaca College sophomore Adrian Abel Amador.
There are two other great low price ticket options: Student Rush and Pay What You Can tickets. $15 Student Rush tickets will continue to be offered for every performance; they are available starting an hour before the performance, so tickets can't be reserved ahead of time. Call ahead to find out what the chances are for a particular night, or come on a whim and take your chances! The first Sunday and Tuesday performance of each production is a Pay What You Can Night, and any amount that works for you will do.
Kitchen Theatre Company is committed to opening its doors wide. For more information about affordable ways to see Kitchen Theatre plays, contact Associate Producer Lesley Greene at (607) 272-0403.
