The 2014 season at the Festival's flagship location, the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park, starts on June 4 with the regional premiere of the fan-favorite Mary Poppins. That is followed by Damn Yankees, On The Town, The Will Rogers Follies, and the East Coast premiere of the Church Basement Ladies: The Last (Potluck) Supper.
Menopause The Musical starts the season on May 29 as part of the Merry-Go-Round Downtown series at Auburn Public Theater. This hilarious production will have an extended 11-week run thanks to popular demand.
"This show can really be part of the ultimate 'Ladies Night Out.' We couldn't be more excited about bringing this show to Central New York," Ed Sayles, the Producing Director of the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival, said. "Menopause The Musical is one production that is really going to be an experience for anyone that goes."
The new musicals series The PiTCH returns for its third season at Theater Mack at the Cayuga Museum of History and Art Thursdays-Saturdays from June 19-August 30 excluding the week of July 4. The PiTCH will present 10 new musicals in development.
