Everyone's Theatre Company, Inc. in Rochester, New York will be presenting the regional premiere of Tim Acito's Zanna, Don't! A Musical Fairy Tale July 9-17, 2009. Directed and Choreographed by Robert Sharman, with Vocal Direction by Bill DeMetsenaere and Orchestral Direction by George Greven, ETC is partnering with the 2009 Rochester Gay Pride Festival to bring the Rochester area a lighthearted musical with a theme that everyone can relate to: Social Equality.

Zanna, Don't tells the story of the students at the fictitious Heartsville High, a school in a parallel universe where everyone is homosexual, and the heterosexuals are the outcasts of society. The students, led by the magical matchmaker, Zanna, make an effort to ensure that nobody has any "extra love" by coupling up. When a magical spell goes wrong, Zanna finds himself in a situation he never expected! With a score that mixes Pop, Rock, Techno, Country and traditional Broadway- style musical theater songs, Zanna, Don't is a show you won't want to miss!

The dynamic cast includes Chris Ecklund as Zanna, Rachel Pasternak as Kate, Jeff Clair as Steve, Laura Marron as Roberta, Ricky Schroeder as Mike, Nick Bernard as Tank, Lauren MacDonough as Candi/Broncho, Michael Ciaccia as Arvin, Eddy Metidieri as Inga/Loretta, Jules Natoli as Karla/Tex, and Kevin Schober as Principal Cooper/Officer Klotzki.

Performances are held at the School of the Arts theatre, 45 Prince St., Rochester July 9-17th. Tickets are $15 (seating is reserved) and can be ordered by calling (585) 415-4747.
