CRT extends "Early Bird" Ticket Deadline for Mystery Dinner Theatre

The Cortland Repertory Theatre Guild is extending the "Early Bird" ticket purchase deadline for their annual Mystery Dinner Theatre fund raiser until January 31st. Tickets will be $50.00 each until that date, after which they will be increased by $5.00 each. The show scheduled is the hysterical, interactive mystery "The Strange Case of Sheik Yerbuti". Four performances are scheduled: Friday, March 4, Saturday March 5 and the following week, Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12. The dinner and show will be held at the Cortland Ramada Inn, 2 River Street in Cortland, near exit 11 off Route 81 in Cortland.

Included with the ticket price is a welcome reception with hors d'oeuvres at 6:30 pm, a cash bar, buffet dinner a choice of three entrees and the performance beginning at 7:00. The show tells the story of Ambassador Lassiter who plans to announce peace between his country of Yerbuti and their enemies, the Fugari. But when rumors start that Yerbuti is hiding a secret oil stash, friends and enemies become hard to tell apart. Pretty soon, Yerbuti is not safe from the greedy hands of mystery men! The hilarious Acme Mystery Company will again perform this entertaining, interactive evening of suspense and laughter. Also, the Ramada Inn offers discount rooms for that evening to anyone attending the dinner.
