Blackfriars Theatre, a not-for-profit, professional theatre on East Main Street's "Theatre Row," is proud to announce the opening of the Stephen Sondheim classic, "Sunday In The Park With George."

In a radically interpreted new production, our Artistic Director, John Haldoupis revisits Sondheim's masterpiece, specifically designed for our new thrust stage. The musical chronicles the story of painter Georges Seurat's efforts as he struggles to complete his masterpiece, An Afternoon On The Island Of La Grand Jatte.
