Bay Street Theater is Pleased to Announce A Successful Holiday Party at Topping Rose

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts hosted a holiday party for supporters of Bay Street's 2016 season. The event took place at Topping Rose in Bridgehampton, NY.

The evening featured a performance by Joanna Howard (PETER AND THE STARCATCHER), and accompanied by Linda Howard. Jules Feiffer, world-renown cartoonist and author also spoke about his work THE MAN IN THE CEILING, which makes its World Premiere as a musical opening Bay Street's 2017 Summer Mainstage Season. With book and lyrics by Andrew Lippa (BIG FISH), the show will be directed by Jeffrey Seller, who is also known for his work as the Broadway producer of HAMILTON and RENT.

Executive Director Tracy Mitchell and Board Chairman Steve Todrys filled in with speeches about the remainder of the season, including INTIMATE APPAREL by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, directed Bay Street's Artistic Director, Scott Schwartz and the final show, AS YOU LIKE IT by William Shakespeare, directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle. This show will be a co-production with Classic Stage Company in New York City.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is a year-round, not-for-profit professional theater and community cultural center which endeavors to innovate, educate, and entertain a diverse community through the practice of the performing arts. We serve as a social and cultural gathering place, an educational resource, and a home for a community of artists.
