Autographed STAR WARS Poster & More Up for Auction at Chenango River Theatre's 2016 Winter Gala

Three truly exclusive items have been acquired by Chenango River Theatre's Gala Committee as featured items at the 2016 Winter Gala on Jan. 23. These three items are not available for purchase anywhere except at this event, which supports the theatre's 2016 season.

Just acquired is a 16"x 20" movie poster from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the current mega box office hit. Personally autographed by 14 of the movie's major luminaries, including Daisy Ridley (Rey), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), George Lucas (Creator), J.J. Abrams (Director), John Williams (Conductor), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), John Boyega (Finn), and Lupita Nyong'o (Maz Kanata), this item will be sold to the highest bidder at the Live Auction at CRT's Winter Gala. In addition to the Star Wars Movie Poster, CRT will auction two other major collectible items.

The first is a Michael Jordan jersey. If you collect sports collectibles, this is an autographed & beautifully framed (the frame is almost 4' tall) Michael Jordan jersey. Perfect for hanging in your business to attract attention, or at home, only 23 of these exist, with each jersey personally signed by Jordan. The unique framing includes two color photos of Jordan, plus a Chicago Bulls jersey emblem. The frame is a museum quality piece, with suede matting and is currently on display at the Silo Restaurant, where CRT's fundraiser will take place.

"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Perhaps the most stunning item that CRT will auction includes a piece of metal that's been to the moon and back. As the first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong led the crew of the Apollo 11 in a historic first for the US. With Armstrong were Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins - all 3 have autographed the color photo included in this museum quality limited edition frame. Only 11 of these pieces exist (this is #7 of 11). The frame includes: an autographed 11x14 photo of the Apollo 11 Crew; a First Day Cover Moon Landing Postcard-1st Issue, Stamped and Cancelled; Officially Licensed NASA Apollo 11 45th Anniversary Medallions (2 of them), NASA Vector Logo Patch & Apollo 11 Mission Patch. The medallions were made from melting down metal from the actual Lunar Landing module. The autographs come with a Certificate of Authentication.

CRT's 9th Annual Winter Gala will be held at the Silo Restaurant on January 23 from 6:00 - 9:30pm. One of Binghamton's favorite bands, OLD FRIENDS, will perform throughout the evening.
