The Glenn Crytzer Orchestra is an award-winning 17 piece big band specializing in the music of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s.

Praised for the unparalleled authenticity of their sound, the band is an elite aggregation of some of the world's most prominent vintage jazz specialists. Their superlative musicianship and unbridled swing is fueled by each musician's genuine love for playing pre-war jazz, making every performance one to remember.

The GCO's repertoire includes the music of artists like Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Jean Goldkette, Cole Porter, Bing Crosby, Harry James, Fletcher Henderson, Ella Fitzgerald, Fats Waller, George Gershwin, Billie Holiday and many more. Additionally the GCO carries the torch forward for swing music, performing and recording new songs and arrangements composed in the vintage idiom by band leader and award-winning composer Glenn Crytzer.

Journalists have lauded the GCO as sounding like "refugees from the 1940s" and dubbed Glenn "New York's New King of Swing." The orchestra, who's performed at Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night's Swing, The Rainbow Room and other high-caliber venues, was honored by Hot House Jazz Magazine with the Award for Best Group in their 2017 "fans decide" poll, and their recordings have been licensed by Disney, ABC, WGN, the CBC, Blumhouse, and countless others for TV shows and films seeking an authentic "period" sound. Glenn's song "Could This Be Love," from his album Uptown Jump, was recently featured in the Disney movie Christopher Robin, released in July 2018.
