Some Lovers follows the story of a couple caught between their present and their past. With an original story by Steven Sater (Spring Awakening) and all new music from the legendary Burt Bacharach, this captivating tale leaps across time as an unforgettable melody transports these lovers back to their younger selves.

Some Lovers marks Burt Bacharach's first new score in 50 years. Bacharach wrote the score for the 1968 musical Promises, Promises (w/ Hal David), which won two Tony Awards. He also wrote music for films, winning two Oscars and a Grammy for his work on Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (w/ Hal David). He has won 3 Academy Awards and 8 Grammy Awards throughout his career. In 2015, Rolling Stone ranked Bacharach at 32 in their list of 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time.

Steven Sater is a playwright and lyricist who has worked on musicals, plays, and television alike. He is best known for his work on Spring Awakening, which won him 2 Tony Awards and a Grammy Award. His other works include Alice by Heart, The Nightingale, Nero, and Prometheus Bound (w/ Serj Tankian). Some of his music has been featured on the television series Rise (2018).

Josh Rhodes, the director of Some Lovers, is a director and choreographer who has celebrated success both on stage and on screen. He has choreographed on Broadway for Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, First Date, It Shoulda Been You, and Bright Star. He has also choreographed shows at London's West End and been director/choreographer for shows at the Asolo Repertory Theatre.

Some Lovers stars Sandra DeNise (Bright Star, Kinky Boots: The Musical), Chris Hoch (Shrek The Musical), Emily Schultheis (Island Song, Wicked National Tour), and Andrew Mueller (Peter and the Starcatcher). Designers include Paul Tate DePoo III (Scenic), Sera Bourgeau (Costume), Paul Miller (Lighting), and Jon Fredette (Sound), with Anthony De Angelis as Musical Director.

"This is no jukebox musical - it's packed with all new music from the legendary Burt Bacharach! Combined with Spring Awakening's, Steven Sater, it's incredibly exciting that ATF and Glens Falls get to be in on the ground floor for this show." - Chad Rabinovitz
