Master storyteller Jonathan Kruk will be performing at Historic Hudson Valley's holiday event, Dickens's 'Christmas Carol,' on four December dates. In addition, HHV's Holiday Gift Shop is open weekends through Dec. 18. Scroll down for more details!

Dramatic performances of Dickens's 'Christmas Carol' will take place on December weekends at the historic Reformed Church of the Tarrytowns. Complete with musical accompaniment, master storyteller Jonathan Kruk brings to life the classic Charles Dickens story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future in this Historic Hudson Valley production. Performances take place on Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 10-11 and 17-18, at 4, 5:15, and 6:30pm.

Historic Hudson Valley adds to the seasonal festivities with its Holiday Gift Shop at Philipsburg Manor. Shop local and support educational programs by checking off your gift list at the store, which is stocked with Hudson Valley-inspired and holiday-themed merchandise. Locally made honey, books about the Hudson Valley, winter solstice-scented candles, and regional artists' wares are just some of the locally created gift ideas filling the shelves.

Performances take place at the Reformed Church of the Tarrytowns, 42 N. Broadway (Route 9), Tarrytown, on Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 10-11 and 17-18 at 4, 5:15, and 6:30pm.

Capacity is very limited for Dickens's 'Christmas Carol' and tickets should be purchased in advance at www.hudsonvalley.org or by calling 914-366-6900. Ticket prices are $25 for adults and $20 for children under 18. Historic Hudson Valley recommends the event for ages 10 and up. Members of Historic Hudson Valley receive a $5 per ticket discount.

The Holiday Gift Shop is located at the Philipsburg Manor Visitor Center, 381 N. Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, and is open Saturdays from 10am - 5pm and Sundays from noon - 5pm through Dec. 18.
