Windsor Light Music Theatre has a rich history of talented youth performers, and we honour them by providing excellent programming for the youth of today!

Each of our programs is run by highly skilled members of the WLMT Community and offers a unique blend of vocal, dance and theatrical training in a fun, encouraging environment!

We are proud to offer three dynamic programs for Youth Members:

​

DRAMA CAMP (ages 8-11, 12-15)

Each summer, we run two sessions of drama camp. These camps feature fun activities, drama games, and end with a musical production at our rehearsal space two show off the introductory vocals and dances we’ve studied together. WLMT Drama Camps are the perfect place for beginner performers to see what they can do!

TEEN THEATRE SHOWCASE (ages 13-17)

The Teen Theatre Showcase is a one-week musical theatre intensive course that cannot be missed! Featuring masterclass workshops from course mentors and local arts educators, the Teen Theatre Showcase is a crash course in theatre for the budding high school performer. Participants will challenge themselves, make lasting friendships, and take part in our end-of-week cabaret!

YOUTH THEATRE PERFORMANCE PROGRAM (ages 9-15)

Every year, WLMT brings a classic, Broadway-style production to the stage… performed by an all-kid cast! Participants will work with a Director, Music Director and Choreographer to mount a high energy, show stopping performance. From auditions in October to the final bow in April, this one-of-a-kind program combines theatrical education with all aspects of a real production!
