KATES CAMP FOR KIDS - CAMP INFORMATION
Camp Type: Day Session Length: 2 Weeks Camp Focus: Acting Music Vocal Instrument Arts Programming Avail	Extra Activities: Production of theatre

This two-week program is for boys and girls ages 8-15 and gives your child the opportunity to experience every aspect of staging a musical with onstage and backstage roles for everyone – singing, dancing, acting, creating sets, and assembling costumes – all in just 10 days! These shows are abridged, fully-licensed presentations and over the past 13 years, CMS productions have included “Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr.,” “Cats,” “Seussical, Jr.,” and “Annie, Jr.” among others.

Thank you to all of the campers who joined us for Kate’s Camp this summer! We enjoyed 5 weeks of fun and creativity and appreciate everyone’s cooperation in making it a safe experience. Kate’s Camp for Kids is a comprehensive after school and summer arts day program that focuses on nurturing children’s creative potential through the arts!

This state-licensed camp brings together professional teaching artists from throughout the region to the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center. Designed for boys and girls ages 5 to 10 years old, Kate’s Camp is filled with music, dance, art, and theater and each session culminates in a performance for family and friends! A diverse range of activities is offered on a rotating basis to ensure a fresh experience for even the most frequent camper.
