IMAGINE WORKS YOUTH THEATRE - CAMP INFORMATION
Camp Type: Day Session Length: Roughly 3 months Camp Focus: Musical Theatre Theatre Acting	Extra Activities: acting, Dancing, Singing

Imagine Works Youth Theatre is a pre-professional training program for kids, tweens and teens 8-17. Our students focus on the fundamental skills in voice, drama and dance, while also applying what they learn in class to an actual performance.

Our classes and productions are great for both experienced and new performers. Our class sizes are small so that every student receives one-on-one attention from instructors.

This fall, we're offering several classes & productions:

BEGINNER MUSICAL THEATRE CLASS & PRODUCTION

In this class, young performers will learn the basic skills in voice, acting, and dance to use their bodies, voices, and emotions on stage to become a character. They will work together to produce a musical and incorporate what they learn into a tangible performance. Runs on Tuesdays from 4-5:30pm. Performances of the musical will be on Saturday December 14th at 3pm. There will be no class on 11/5. *Ages 8-12

BROADWAY DANCE CLASS

In this Beginner/Intermediate class, students will focus on technique and picking up choreography. Students will be exposed to different styles of Broadway dance. This class is great to shore up skills, especially for kids auditioning for schools or professional productions. Runs on Saturdays from 4-5pm. There will be no class on 11/23 or 11/30. Final class on 12/14. *Ages 11-17

FALL ACTING INTENSIVE & PRODUCTION

In class, students will delve into the basics of Shakespeare, Stanislavsky, Adler, Meisner and Strasberg acting techniques, as well as improvisation, voice & speech, and movement. Students will learn how to be responsive & engaged listeners on stage in scene work, as well as create fully developed characters. This class is also combined with a production of a main stage play. Students will rehearse for this play in the final two hours of class. *THIS CLASS IS FULL. PLEASE CONTACT US TO BE PLACED ON THE WAITLIST.*

​PRIVATE VOICE, ACTING & DANCE LESSONS

Imagine Works offers private lessons in all areas, including audition preparation and helping with the middle & high school, and college audition process. Lessons can be done virtually on Zoom, or in-person at The Players Theatre.
