Our Youth Summer Programs offer a variety of fun and challenging summer options for students of many ages and training levels. Whether you’re looking to build foundational acting skills, or to prepare for college audition season, we offer programs for you.

The classes are designed for young actors who are passionate about the craft of acting and are ready to be challenged. Their teachers are working actors and directors and are pleased to bring their expertise to the younger actor.

GRADES 1-3: SUMMER ACTING ADVENTURES FOR KIDS

An age-appropriate exploration of acting for 1st -3rd graders, this 1 week camp is a great introduction to the ways in which students can apply themselves to storytelling and on-camera work. Returns Summer 2023.

GRADES 4-7: SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS

Exciting 1 week summer camp for students grade 4-7 who want to explore many of the elements of what it takes to be an actor: relationship, text work, improv, monologue, and on-camera skills. Returns Summer 2023.

GRADES 8-12: SUMMER INTENSIVE FOR TEENS

1 week summer program for teen actors who want to experience training in a professional environment. Students will tackle scene work, on-camera, stage combat, improv & more. Returns Summer 2023.

GRADES 9-12: SUMMER AUDITION CLINIC FOR TEENS

This exciting and energizing one-week program is perfect for teens who want to hone their theatre and on-camera audition skills as well as learn about the ins and outs of the business in Chicago. Acceptance is determined by audition. Returns Summer 2023.

CONSERVATORY TRAINING FOR ADVANCED TEEN ACTORS

The Conservatory will provide a great opportunity for teen actors to deepen the audition skills acquired in the Clinic or ASC Teen Classes, and to expand their exposure to other acting techniques and Chicago professionals in a professional setting. NEW! Offered Summer 2023.
