Five Fabulous Years of saucy holiday tunes calls for a Roman numeral, so Forte is proud to present Naughty... but Nice: The Big V! Come join Forte Musical Theatre for this favourite sweet but risqué holiday celebration, which runs from December 11 - 22, 2018.
"Last year, we broke all our attendance records for the Naughty but Nice series of shows so we're excited that people continue to enjoy the show year after year! said Joe Slabe, Forte Musical Theatre's Artistic Director and the show's Musical Director.
"This year, we'll be sharing the Lunchbox Theatre with It's a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play, so Naughty but Nice will be returning to the WBFR station to take over the airwaves. There will be new holiday songs and the return of some favourite material that hasn't been heard in the past two or three years so the show will stay fresh and current. But it wouldn't be very nice to leave out the songs that our audience has grown to love over the years so you can count on a good mix of old standards and new naughtiness!"
Winner of three Calgary Critics' Awards and the Betty Mitchell Award for Outstanding Production of a Musical, this year's production will feature a hit parade of favourites from the past and a smattering of new tunes which will remind the audience why, every year, Naughty... but Nice is on their must-see list!
Scott Olynek and Justine Westby return to the cast and we have a couple of naughty newbies in Tenaj Williams and Madeleine Suddaby, both of whom were in Forte's award-winning production of Touch Me: Songs for a (dis)Connected Age.
Naughty...but Nice! The Big V runs from December 11 - 22, 2018 at Lunchbox Theatre, with curtain times at 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and a 3 p.m. matinee on Saturdays and Sundays.
